This is why I drew a line in the sand.

The industry wants to turn the browser into a concierge between you and the web, interpreting and filtering your reality. They call it delegation - I call it a loss of agency.

A browser should be a tool you wield, not something that makes decisions for you.

Alright. Two days left on this vote. We have a healthy lead on the AI slop, BUT that could change at any time. Hoping to just annihilate him. When voting ends, I'm calling on the site to change their policies and require art from ARTISTS.
We were in first place in this film award voting.

A film made purely with AI just netted over 150 votes in 12 hours.

Now it's personal.

Please. Help us kick this THING's ass fair and square. ART FOR ARTISTS.

Gets dark early this time of year, so I bought Rocket a light up collar.

But you see, he’s very floofy.

New pricing tiers at national parks based on who you are and where you come from is EXTREMELY Nazi stuff

The Trump administration is raising national parks' prices and adding fees for international tourists from next year in an "America-first" initiative, the Interior Department announced.

1. Trump threatened every hospital that provides gender affirming care to transgender youth.

Many complied and shut down their programs.

Boston Children's Hospital didn't. They fought back and kept providing care.

And now, they just beat Trump in court.

I'm seeing less posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them, and losing them money.

Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.
Spoke with an anon source who had an interesting insight into Visa policy. Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy

Ok here are our goals for the time being:
-Email Youtube/ Google and tell them to backtrack on this AI thing.
-Call Reps to shut down KOSA or else a free internet is dead
- Keep calling Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Stripe until they fully reverse their decisions on their ends
YouTube will begin using AI to determine whether viewers in the U.S. are over or under the age of 18 starting on August 13th.
