Leadership is setting a vision where even if its not completely popular in the moment, you work to show that it should be, why it shouldn't be outright rejected. Changing minds is a leader's greatest skill and the establishment dems do not posses it.

The older I get, the more my politics mature from childish, naïve beliefs like "the world is complicated and leaders have to make hard decisions" to more serious, adult principles like "hurting people is bad and helping people is good."

Misreporting of this magnitude should be considered a criminal act.
The Wall Street Journal is now walking back its earlier reporting that "transgender ideology" messages were found on the shooter's ammunition.

Remember everyone. Even if Trump keels over tomorrow, we are not safe. Trump is not the cause of fascism here, he is the result. If the system does not change, there will always be another Trump. But it will be even worse; the bad actors will learn from their mistakes, regroup, & come back stronger

What’s most annoying about some Democrats’ public statements about GAC for trans youth is that we already have the phrasing for this: no politician should get in between a patient & their doctor. Dems have no issue using that logic to rightly conclude that children shouldn’t be forced to give birth.
