De rook van Canadese bosbranden bleef lang in hogere luchtlagen, maar de afgelopen 24 uur daalde de rook ook tot op leefniveau. In de Alpen stegen de concentraties fijnstof duidelijk.
Die kanadischen Waldbrände sorgen regional für eine erhöhte Feinstaubbelastung, derzeit sind besonders die westlichen Nordalpen betroffen wie etwa der Pinzgau und weite Teile Vorarlbergs.

Oberwallis -Termen. De meeste sneeuw is na een week gesmolten. De gevolgen / schade aan de natuur zijn nog steeds overal zichtbaar. Overal in de omgeving nog vele geknakte of ontwortelde bomen die wegen en (bos)paden blokkeren. Rondje hardlopen vanmorgen had dan ook veel weg van een hindernisloop
