I got some of Gavis Bettel's birthday merch this year and it finally arrived today! The coaster looks great and seems hardy and the Bettelion plush is so cute and has a squeaker in it like a dog toy 😆

I emailed asking to take off work on 12/23 and my boss replied, "sure, but that's the day of our Christmas party"
Me: "yes, I know"
If we had our holiday party earlier in Dec. I would go, but bc we always do it the last business day before Christmas / me seeing my elderly family, absolutely not

Reminder: you should absolutely start wearing the best mask you can find in public spaces, even if you stopped before. We have no public health at the top level & repeat infections have ravaged immune systems.

Reminder that not only do library systems have physical media (& many also lend tools, electronics etc), your library card may give you access to streamers Kanopy and Hoopla. We just watched Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of The Rainmaker via a hoopla the other night. Pretty good!

So my review of Hamnet is that you'll like it if you like historical dramas and also having your heart ripped out of your chest multiple times. I can't remember the last time a movie made me cry so many separate times lol. Give Jessie Buckley all the awards!

Seeing a movie tonight and I was thinking about getting a small popcorn bc I miss movie popcorn (microwave is not the same) but it's been so long since I looked at a concession stand that I didn't know popcorn now comes in regular (large) and large (larger) 😆

#HoloRewind prob. uses the same data as YTRecap, which explains why my YTR metrics feel off -- it thinks I spent 3 DAYS watching just 1 of Ruze's VODs 😆 I do watch long VODs over multiple days, but they don't play 24 hrs/day. But I do feel like this mostly accurately shows my vtuber interests!

Dropped my phone on top of my keyboard at work and it somehow broke one of the little flip out legs on the bottom. Phone is fine, but man what the hell? I do actually like to type with it propped up and I doubt I can get my office manager to replace it bc the typing technically does still work 😆

Tonight in D&D we met an evil NPC who said to me, "I know you, you're the mouthy little journalist." To which I said, "oh, I'll give you mouthy" and proceeded to spend the rest of the session taunting/being rude to all of the evil NPCs, which probably I will pay for later 😆
