Tonight's Low Quality Ad is for these "One Cat Short of Crazy" socks.
"I'm not crazy", I say to myself, petting my 27 cats. "Now someone with 28 cats, that would be a real lunatic".

A House panel is holding a hearing on a proposed ban on Congressional stock trading.

This ban is long overdue. Why should members of Congress be able to use privileged information to make money on the stock market, while they’re supposed to be working for you?

All the Republicans had to do was pretend to care about the hungry. could they do that. NO.
Their bias towards food assistance sickens me.
food assistance is likely the only useful thing this government does.

Corruption.
“THIS IS A SEWER… A SCAM… Congress has been enriching itself for too dadgum long.”

We are highly critical of @RepTimBurchett but he & @repjayapal are right — Congress should be BANNED from trading stocks, as @unusualwhales calls out.

Make your reps & senators back this.

The military industrial complex costs us 1 trillion dollars a year.
the insanity of that is beyond compare.
we could pay for Universal health care if we just reduced the military cost by 1/3.
