My short story “Midnight Craving” is only $2.99 USD on Amazon. It is a Lovecraftian story made for 2023 that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

If you like summoning demons at midnight or if you wanna laugh a little, this is for you. a.co/d/2wjr8fv

A perfectly #timed jab to a dying animal can take it down. Though many have previously punctured the mammoth creature struggling under its own weight. Empires die first from within. Only the final blow comes from without. Tick tock.

To remain #relevant and stay on social media media or to remain sane living as a hermit in the woods, that is the question.

Inside the Fortune Tent, there is a boy with slick blonde hair and a pure white suit. We drink tea in silence, then he takes my cup and tips the leaves onto a #saucer. He twists them with a finger, smiles and rolls them with tobacco. As we smoke my future, he begins to cry. I don't ask why.

I’m shooting through the sky,
caught in a wind current.
I couldn’t hear them—
I wouldn’t want to.

Still, I sing out—
my swan song:

That God is
a soulful egomaniac.
And we are the reflection—
forever witnessing,
forever interpreting,
through a mirror.

“How is the patient?”

“Agitated. He keeps talking about how his robot wife he purchased won’t follow programming. But I’m confused, wasn’t he the android?”

The doctor chuckled. “Yeah they tell them all they’re human. Less malfunctions that way. Call the wife and tell her to reboot.”

It was a good thing that the game made players’ characters insubstantial to each other or, in the tumult of the mêlée, things could #clash & get a little complicated.

As it was, Rory found it difficult to see what each player did and he would often find himself attacking the same monsters.

The man across the table started to sweat as I introduced my associate. “And w-what exactly does Mr. Grimley do?” He stuttered.
“He does one thing. One thing only. Do we have a deal?”
Mr. Grimley extended one clawed hand out to seal the covenant and suddenly the client was on the floor. #vss365

The problem with reading a bunch of Anne Rice novels in a short period of time is that sometimes I see a statue and I'm like, damn she would want to fuck that statue.

Forever blown away by how powerful a simple phrase like ‘I am afraid’ can be. We walk around with all this armor of ego cocooning us, a mask projecting how capable we are, what kind of person we are, what our potential enemies should see. But the moment a person utters the words ‘I’m scared’ or

Damn your beautiful eyes and your beautiful hair. I have known more bearable tortures than the being speared through by a glimpse of the sharpened curve of your lips.

I’m glad bluesky exists but I miss the writing community I used to have before Twitter collapsed under the weight of all its fascists. Losing my support system sucks harder than Nancy Reagan.

Yet another short story screaming to become a full length novel. I have too many book babies already thank you.

Val considered the “dog” squatting its wrinkled, gray paunch on the linoleum.

“Is it even conscious?”

“How dare you! Mr. Squeaks is young at heart.”

Squeaks stared ahead with rheumy eyes, tongue hanging out like a dead lizard. I threw a treat and he swallowed it whole with a goblin noise.

While common elves were sometimes seen flitting from tree to tree and hiding amongst stones, a brownie was far more elusive. The little creature was known to wash dishes or fold laundry for a mere bowl of grain and honey before the last male of a breeding pair died in captivity in 1905.

I glanced at Gia, who looked just as confused. “Did it just say prism?” She shrugged.

Can’t believe I almost forgot to review Parable of the Sower. This book is insanity. A dystopian novel that feels too real in 2025. Octavia Butler has a strong, distinct voice and she uses it to its full potential. Highly recommend if you have a strong stomach. #parableofthesower

This is probably the most unique work I have read so it’s hard to place a genre. I’d say Sci-fi would be close. If you’re looking to dip your toes into Sci-fi but you’re not sure how, this would be a good start, especially if you enjoy mystery. Worth the read for sure. #iwhohaveneverknownmen
