Important cultural artifact

Can’t believe I almost forgot to review Parable of the Sower. This book is insanity. A dystopian novel that feels too real in 2025. Octavia Butler has a strong, distinct voice and she uses it to its full potential. Highly recommend if you have a strong stomach. #parableofthesower

This is probably the most unique work I have read so it’s hard to place a genre. I’d say Sci-fi would be close. If you’re looking to dip your toes into Sci-fi but you’re not sure how, this would be a good start, especially if you enjoy mystery. Worth the read for sure. #iwhohaveneverknownmen

Currently reading The Hunter’s Gambit by Ciel Pierlot on audiobook. It’s fun but the narrator lays on the character voices a little too thick for my liking. Nothing against YA books, I love them, but it’s nice to hear the perspective of this grown badass woman for awhile.
