It was hammered into my brain (by educators, by relatives, by the news, etc) to not believe everything said or seen online and to check multiple credible sources before accepting information to be true and I don’t know when that went out the window, but it sucks

Curtain Call to Murder by Julian Clary is a silly crime comedy told in a similar way to The Appeal by Janice Hallett.

It book doesn’t take itself seriously at all, and once you get into the vibe of that, it’s a really fun ride.

Ok, the Kingston Cycle books are one SOLID trilogy, #QueerAdultSFF, radical politics, amazing worldbuilding, romantic as fuck, and deals with a society finding itself after dismantling oppression. Do yourself a favor and read them! Share them with friends!

Nearly every one of @alexandrarowland.bsky.social’s works crosses over into a new genre & their new title, Running Close to the Wind (June 11) is a queer pirate fantasy adventure!

The first chapter preview on Gizmodo noted the ship is a 3-masted carrack, which I just happen to have.. sort of. 😆
