Exactly.

If it’s Canada’s coast, not BC’s, then it’s Canada’s oil, not AB’s.

You don’t get to have it both ways, Dani.

The AB UCP are ignorant and careless. It’s hard to believe that any politician would actually say this out loud knowing the devastation this will cause up the food chain. 0 days without some UCP cretin embarrassing themselves and the province.

Appalling behaviour on the part of the AG. s 2.1 of the Act expressly authorizes the CEO to seek the Court's opinion. This section was amended in the last session to provide timelines. If the AG didn't want the CEO to use it the UCP shd have removed it and left it to judicial review. #abpoli #ableg
This morning Alberta's justice minister said "we encourage" Elections Alberta to stop seeking guidance from the courts on a proposed referendum on separation.

This afternoon Elections Alberta issued a public statement reminding everyone it is "an independent, non-partisan office."

Clumsily planned grift by the UCP to liberate more Albertan taxpayer dollars and transfer them into the hands of her fossil fuel industry buddies while also being able to claim “she’s protecting Albertans”. Whether incompetence or corruption, I’m inclined to believe the latter, the UCP must go.
