I actually DO look #autistic.
I stim: I rock, press my head against my shoulder, & play with fidget toys. I tuck my arms close to my body. I wear comfy clothes & no makeup (for sensory reasons). I avoid eye contact.

As an autistic person I see explanations as reasons, not excuses. They help me see where people are coming from. I’m glad to know their intentions. Intentions ain't everything, but they matter to me. I find them informative.

Something I think we all struggle with on here is that every day we log in we're basically doing triage.
I see like twenty or thirty fundraisers a day all saying "just $5!" And like, I can't do that. Most of us can't. I have to pick one or two. And that's stressful and feels awful.
