Just finished Under the Net by Iris Murdoch, my second of her novels. I greatly enjoyed Jake’s misguided journey. It was fascinating to see how Murdoch developed between this novel (her first) and Henry and Cato 22 years later.
Safe to say I would like to read more from her. She’s grand.

And @doubleb25.bsky.social played Brass Birmingham with me. It was his first time, and he really enjoyed it! We ended 9 points apart, which is SO CLOSE.
I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face after that game.
