i started replaying botw since I finished totk but I'm not enjoying it nearly as much. the misogyny of a lot of it is ruining the parts that would otherwise be best :/ I do like fighting the guardians and stuff though.

Hipkins thinks Greens are disenfranchising voters. As an ex Labour voter that became distant from Labour after Hipkins binned many progressive policies and went on to insult Wahine Māori it's your party disenfranchising people Hipkins. I'm not the only ex Labour voter thanks to you either. #nzpol

chris hipkins has always been deeply uninspiring but he earned my enmity when he called tamatha paul stupid for the mildest gentlest criticism of the police. and absolutely nothing he's done has made himself or the labour party under his lead seem any better since.

why is it that when ppl talk abt child poverty they never seem to pay attention to the fact that a major issue is parents being unable to work normally having to rely on benefits that leave the whole family in poverty.
it's more than school lunches and making jobs even if those are important too.

Wow. Just absolutely pitch perfect cold porridge no salt or sugar politics. 2026 is going to be National going "let us finish the reforms we started..." and Labour going "no let us finish the reforms they started". Dog shit politics, absolutely terrible.

it took me multiple years and multiple playthroughs where I mostly just ran around finding everything but I have finally actually finished totk properly.

It’s perfectly OK to demand better from Hipkins and Labour (or other parties) and to criticise their 'strategy'. People have been doing so for decades. It’s Labour's job as opposition to pressure and criticise the current govt, and it’s up to the public to pressure Labour 🧵
