Good lord, when rights for audiobooks transfer from one publisher to another mid-series they should also negotiate for the style guides and require everyone to listen to the previous books. Doing otherwise just has weird results.

Here's another angle: playing Celeste with Assist Mode actually does make you better at Celeste with Assist Mode. Someone could grind assisted Celeste and get mindblowingly good at playing that way. The only way this is a problem is if someone views disabled folk as undeserving of recognition.

Motherfucker, some people need Assist Mode to play the game at all! Why is "getting better" such a commonly-held perspective among a bunch of Celeste players? Why are we poisoning casual play with this idea of competitive grinding?

I remember years ago when Mr. Majama raided a streamer who was attempting to beat Celeste using only voice controls to account for his disability.
So when I see people scream about Celeste's "Assist Mode" being cheating (like today), I think of that streamer, and if they would say that to his face.

You know what really would've elevated Need For Speed: Unbound? Fur suits. I can't put my finger on why, but this specific racing game looks like it should have had furry avatar options.

Alright everyone. Republicans are going to force a vote on their gender affirming care provision even though it violates Senate rules. They’ll need 60 votes to keep it in. Now is the time to make your voice heard and ask your Senators to stand on the side of health care freedom.
Transgender medicaid ban and definition of sex are back in the federal bill - Dems can raise a point of order and force a vote, and as long as we don't lose 7 dems on this, Dems can keep it out.

This means that Democrats will have to raise a point of order on this part of the bill. This would force a vote on the amendment that would require 60 votes. Republicans have 53 Senate seats, so it means they would need to pick off 7 Democrats for this.

As someone said prior, the only reason Greta got released is because people were very loud about her specifically. There are still 8 other flotilla members detained, apparently without fresh water in bedbug infested prison. They all deserve to be fought for, too.
