yea i am ok with an online culture of not giving people the benefit of the doubt as a rule. when we tried the other way of “leniency if it sounds like a joke” it felt pretty toxic so let’s just try it out

his social media presence seemed to grow last year, it was clear he was making inroads with shallow political commentary / thirst traps. i’d seen a comment (under one of his reels?) that was “looks like he’s killing time until a political run” and now i wish i could find it

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.
