I hate how impulsive the ADHD brain is. I woke up this morning and walked into the kitchen. Ate about 6-7 Oreos before my brain finally caught up and asked “uhh… should we really eat Oreos for breakfast? It’s not really healthy…”

Thanks, buddy. You’re always just a little too late.

The world is the way it is because billionnaire pedophiles are better at standing in solidarity with each other than the rest of us are. We could sweep them all away in a weekend if we wanted, but too many of us are convinced that they’re the good guys, actually. How is this our reality?

I haven’t played the game in 6-7 years, but the theme song for ARMS plays in my head on repeat at least one day per week.

Hey, as someone who makes a living off selling adult games, I would really appreciate people helping to push back against censorship by payment processors. These puritanical extremists pressuring them have been successful because they've made a lot of noise, so we should be making even more noise!

Saw the Fantastic Four movie. It’s good overall, but I really need superhero movies to stop trying to convince me that all of humanity can pull together against a threat for the common good. Like, we all lived through 2020. We know that will not ever happen lol.

Oof. Preorder numbers must have been real bad.

But are preorder numbers *ever* good on Xbox anymore? I feel like 90% of that audience is like me, and just plays that stuff on Game Pass now. I haven’t bought a game on Xbox in a very, very long time. Almost a decade, I think.

Oh yeah there’s a Pokémon presents tomorrow. I’m sure it’ll be like 95% about Legends Z-A and a bunch of mobile stuff I don’t care about, but *what if* they put Gens I-III on Switch Online this time.

Donkey Kong Bananza is the sequel to Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction that I always needed but never knew I wanted.

Rolled credits on Donkey Kong Bananza. Great game, and what a final gauntlet leading up to an amazing showdown with the final boss. I’m far from done collecting bananas, but the 20+ hour journey from start to finish was fantastic.

This statement is true and false, depending on the incarnation of the characters. Obviously Skyward Sword Zelda and Link are a couple. But Twilight Princess’ versions of them aren’t at all. I imagine the film has its own take as well.

DK Bananza is the most wonderfully depressing game. It’s clearly the work of lifelong game developers mentoring novices and it’s the kind of game we’d have a lot more of if game publishers actually let game development be a stable, life-long career for people.

Didn’t go into Donkey Kong Bananza thinking it would challenge Clair Obscur for the GOTY, but I’m okay with that.

There are so many little, underrated things about Donkey Kong Bananza that Nintendo just absolutely nailed. I’m so glad they decided to do a Donkey Kong game. I love Mario, but as a character he can’t do the stuff that DK can, and it’s why Bananza feels so fresh.
