I kinda hate how so much conversation about specific games is “solving lore” like a puzzle rather than talking about emotions invoked. It’s like giant collective moments of missing the point

I’m glad I got to play Yakuza 1 when it first came out on the PS2

My problem with Yakuza is that I played 0 first. That was a mistake. The other games aren't bad, it's just like... eating sushi for the first time at some legendary sushi joint in Japan and then only getting Very Good/Great Sushi after that and knowing you'll never have sushi that good again.
man i miss playing yakuza 0. very rare that you know you are playing one of the best games ever while you’re in the middle of it but that was the one.

tbh I think I’m also trying to work through what my ‘style’ is. It’s pretty safe to say almost every one of my videos are stylistically different from the last and tend to emulate the game I’m covering in some way
