The actual secret to why I know stuff is that I ask a question any time I don’t understand literally anything. I don’t care how simple it is. Anybody who makes fun of you for asking a simple question likely doesn’t know the answer either

Yeah, I remember when Pat Rothfuss announced Lion’s Gate had optioned The Name of the Wind and detailed all the promises they had made to him and I was like, ‘oh, you poor sweet babe’
Indeed, Netflix still currently has the option on Old Man's War. That said, it's been under option in one form or another for nearly two decades, and I warn people not to get excited until, in fact, it shows up on a screen. These things are heavily contingent.
