Strong, resilient systems are not efficient systems, and vice versa.
I don’t work in tech so I don’t know if it’s even true that, as some claim, “10% of programmers do 90% of the work.” But even if it were, and even if you could generalize that, losing 10% of air traffic safety, or food safety, or cancer research doesn’t just mean less revenue, it means more death.

Given that I'm leaning into the whole consultant thing, I've decided that I need to get a hold of a decent, inexpensive bookkeeper.
This project has made me realize that typing out a word with 3 double letters in a row, such as bookkeeper, is a complete pain in the ass.
