This is an important point I think. Opposition to Musk isn't based on philosophical or political views. It's between people who know when they're being conned and people who don't. Whether we still have a functioning country after this depends on how many of us fall for the wallet inspector gag
Yeah yeah he’s cringe but can you imagine being dumb enough to fall for this shit? Like oh sure the worlds richest man with billions in government contracts is saying that disability payments are the real scam, he seems legit lol

I personally stylize the abbreviation for artificial intelligence as "A.I." because in the default Bluesky font, it's otherwise indistinguishable from the name "Al"

So I guess you could say I'm the serif 'round these parts

I think sarcasm around Elon’s Nazism should stop now. Jokes about the autism bullshit, any sort of validation of his sidestepping of the question, all of it should be replaced by a very cold, sober, direct confrontation with the richest man on Earth and advisor to the president being a Nazi.

I’m already pretty judgmental of anyone who uses chatgpt regularly for small meaningless things that their brain could figure it out if they just allowed it to. But knowing how much it contributes to climate change & its subsequent disasters… yeah that adds an extra layer of annoyance.

They set up a hot cocoa bar at work an asked me why I wasn’t getting any. I said it’s cause I prefer it be made with milk instead of water, and they were like “Ughh it’s still good if you make it with water 🙄”
These people are amateur cocoa drinkers I tell you hwat

There’s a lot of reasons to learn labor history, one big one is that many of us have never lived in a time of real worker power, or seen it exercised. We’ve never seen a general strike shut down our city and bring bosses to their knees. But it’s happened before and it will happen again.
