I've counted about 15 explosions so far in Kharkiv. Russian drone attack continues.
The sounds are terrifying. The buzz of the drones, the car alerts, dogs are going mad outside, the explosions. The building is shaking.

General FYI but a lot of research has shown that one of the pivotal factors in whether abuse of any kind becomes a long term trauma is the way the people around it react and what kindof environment the person who experienced it is left in.
Supportive vs antagonistic is THE key factor.

I have seen too many ~well meaning~ people talking about how people abused as kids never recover, are never normal, never get to have safe relationships etc. A lot of people dont get that after being abused - but that is the fault of what happens after, because of environment and society.

I don't think this is really about countering Reform, at this point. It's what the people running Labour want to do, what they believe. Maybe the current Reform-focused political landscape makes them feel they have permission to act on it, but that's it.

There's an implication that a mistake was made when they achieved the outcome they desired whether or not that aligns with their campaign promises. I suspect the negative impacts on the country as a whole are of little consequence to them.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, I can't think of a single politician who campaigned hard for Brexit who has since come out and said that they think it was a mistake. Surely, in their heart of hearts, literally one or two of them must know that. So is it that they can't admit it to themselves or just to us?
