what is up with so many youtubers lately editing in music and sound effects that are almost subliminal, just enough that you'll keep pausing and thinking you're going insane hearing shit

I love all the news articles about how fast food sales are suffering because of "economic uncertainty" when they're actually suffering because the food is dogshit at half these places, they give you less and less of it every year, and they charge sit-down restaurant prices for it.

Nothing compares to the instant white-hot rage of when you knock something over and go to grab it and then knock something else over in the process

I wanted to see if anyone here was posting about the hatching chicks on the Big Bear Eagle Cam, so, like a fool, I typed "big bear" into the search box

I was sick recently & feverish, & the worst part wasn't the aches or fatigue, it was the dream. The same one. Repeatedly. Me looking at a bed while someone set down a pile of small boxes & slowly sorted them. Repeating every minute or so. Every time I slept for even a few seconds. For two days.

Fun fact: if you're buying from a creator on etsy, you can reduce their etsy selling fees from 6.5% to 2.5% by ordering via 'shopname.etsy.com' instead of 'etsy.com/shopname' or searching from the main site. It costs you the same but the creator makes more

I'm off from school between Christmas and New Year (plus a few days after that) but I can see my next class online, and so I COULD be getting ahead in my work. But will I?

No. I do my finest work when that work is due in <6 hours.

I love stumbling on a new niche of Thing That I Had No Idea People Were Passionate About. Recently found out about people who love canned seafood and collect different fish tins from around the world. Sardine memes exist. I love that.

The kids love Batman
The kids love Captain America

Why do the kids not love Kraven the Hunter, the Russian aristocrat who kills animals
From Vulture: "Kraven seemed to confirm one of Hollywood’s worst fears. Namely, that outside of Deadpool & Wolverine’s record-setting $1.3 billion haul this past summer, audiences just don’t seem to turn out for superhero movies anymore."

Oh, outside of that one movie making a BILLION dollars, huh?

I have an exciting new hobby! It is clenching my teeth so hard together while I sleep that the pain wakes me up and it causes me cold sensitivity throughout the day! Really excited to see where this pastime takes me!

I miss being a kid and being able to eat literally anything. Now if I eat more than two pieces of candy or more than a handful of chips my stomach ejects acid directly onto my tonsils at random for the next 12 hours, possibly trying to protect itself from further food harm by melting all my teeth.
