I know I'm not supposed to care about things because I'm Gen X, but i be caring. I know a lot of my generation was raised to "endure." Whatever it is, the question is always "but did you die?" And the answer is "no, far worse...i remained alive but couldn't live." Not caring hasn't served us.

That is what they want us to believe is the rationale, even as TikTok kowtows to Donald Trump and tries to convince its young addicts that Trump is their savior.

It is not about rejecting corporate power; it is about empowering a lawless, corrupt dictator.

Do we black out tomorrow or do we watch so we know what’s happening that they want us to see? Do they want us to be oblivious in a blackout or will that make a statement? This TikTok ban is so much deeper than a lot of people think.
