i am not anti-AI but i think people need to be clear eyed about what it means when we spend orders of magnitude more capital on orders of magnitude more applications that are obviously anti-social if not explicitly evil compared to the pro-social, liberatory, FALGSC style pitches
i really really really really think we are delivering on terrible, society destroying, applications of AI at about 10x the rate of "economically useful, liberatory, activity for normies"
