the thing i do miss about being single is enjoying solitude, being in mostly medium-long distance relationships does allow me enough solitude but I lost the ability to enjoy it sometime this year

If you accept trans people are real and about ~1.5% of the population, then trans kids are being undertreated by a factor of about 100x. Seriously, look up how many kids in the US have accessed trans care. It's around 0.05% at the highest measure

SCOTUS does not care about majoritarian tyranny. We are going to see so much suffering and the ball will just pick up speed from here, I feel fucking ill.
"When you're 1% of the population, it's very hard to see how the democratic process will protect you" was quite a statement at the court after the TN attorney argued that the equal protection should be declined in favor of “the democratic process.”

So great that somehow the distress of being incongruent with your body is totally valid and fine if you want to embody your birth sex (*at least what’s on your BC!) according to TN but if it doesn’t align with that BC marker suddenly it’s outweighed by the *possible* suffering of desisters
