I've been playing Expedition 33 finally and something about the story is just not clicking with me (~10 hours in). The characters are way too cavalier in contrast to the insane world it takes place in and there's just no effort to explain what's normal and what isn't. Combat is really great though

The most Democrat consultant-brained piece of this was making it a procedural fight about ACA subsidies — that, if extended for a year, would help the GOP in the 2026 midterms anyway — instead of making it stand against Trump’s lawlessness and corruption.
