Tar and feathers and early retirement for any Democrat who wants to see the army waging war against US citizens get better training.
Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
WARNER: It used to take 5 to 6 months to get trained. They've now lowered the training period to 47 days. Why 47 days? Because Donald Trump's the 47th president. Tell me that's a rational approach

KERNEN: I'm not taking that bait

WARNER: Joe! You can't pick your facts

Congressman #Hoyer has been a great representative of MD-5 for many years. I thank him for his fine service.

But I have been advocating for the last several years that he step aside. I don't believe our founding fathers intended we have career legislators.

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

Lotta people get mad at me when I criticize Democratic messaging but THIS IS HOW DEMOCRATS SHOULD BE TALKING. Like normal people using normal language to communicate normal human emotions about the fucked up situation.

THIS.
Q: After you told ICE to get the F out, Republicans are criticizing you for escalating tensions

FREY: I'm sorry if I offered their Disney princess ears, but if we're talking about what's inflammatory, on one hand you got someone who dropped an F bomb & on other you have someone who killed someone

Clarity, @aoc.bsky.social speaks with clarity
AOC: What we saw today was a criminal murder a woman while she was trying to flee for her life. What we saw today was a manifestation of every American’s worst nightmare: their government turning into a tyranny.

Donald Trump is, once again, on display this morning, in all his immature, rambling incoherent, braggadocious, spendor.

Even more shameful are those who are silent, see him for what he is and take no action against him.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

To me, this is one of the biggest "feel good -- give me hope" stories of 2025. And I don't think it's gotten near the media coverage and universal accolades that it deserves.

Good on you, New Mexico. Let's the rest of us. follow your example.

Friends, it's important we step back from the daily chaos and headlines which make us feel hopeless. We need some context.

How can we get out of this mess? -- I believe these (relatively) short readings are worth your time and may give you a new perspective.

This morning I'm reminded of this quote from Frances Ellen Watkins Harper in 1866:

"We are all bound up together in one great bundle of humanity, and society cannot trample on the weakest and feeblest of its members without receiving the curse in its own soul".
