So, there's a new leak for #horusheresy: a new marine box, featuring new Saturnine pattern Termis and Dreaddy. They look aweasome expecially the Termis, but the Dread... isn't that too tactically similar to a Leviathan? A big armored and armed dread? Dunno... we will see...

Auctoratus Helmet, Rare Brawling for the entertainment of others is not a decision to be made lightly and those who choose to do it rather than being coerced into it are of a different breed than the commoners in the stands. This helmet is cast from a hardened steel, padded on the inside to make it comfortable for the wearer. A leather chinstrap hangs below to keep it attached and the exterior has been polished to a smooth finish. The visage on the faceplate is of anger incarnate, an anguished face screaming out in a moment of battle. While wearing this helmet, you gain a +1 bonus to AC against weapon attacks that deal non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage. As an action while you are wearing this helmet, you can let out a battlecry that sounds closer to a lion’s roar than a yell. All creatures within 60 feet of you can hear it. When you do so, count the number of hostile creatures within 60 feet of you and note the number. The next time you would take damage from an attack or spell effect, you can reduce the amount of damage taken by the number that you noted. If you reduce the amount of damage taken to zero, move your turn in the initiative order to the place directly after the current turn. The next time you would take damage as part of strike or spell effect, lower the damage taken by the amount of hostile creatures that heard the battlecry. If you lower the damage taken to zero, move your turn in the initiative order to the next space after the current turn being taken.

I'm super happy with how this guy turned out overall. It was a real challenge to balance the muscular frame with something fantastical, and then having to decide what to do with the hair colour and make sure it still felt balanced. The scroll had to be redesigned a handful of times to make sure it fit the theme, rather than just being a distraction. I then had to remake the text by hand to make sure it fit properly, and add bloodied versions on top. It felt a bit like overkill uploading four versions to Redbubble, but hey, it can't hurt right? Really hope you like him! <3
