So, there's a new leak for #horusheresy: a new marine box, featuring new Saturnine pattern Termis and Dreaddy. They look aweasome expecially the Termis, but the Dread... isn't that too tactically similar to a Leviathan? A big armored and armed dread? Dunno... we will see...

I love Renaissance and more importantly I love #darkfantasy based on it. Knights wearing the pinnacle of plate armor technology and early fire arms fighting against supernatural horrors are probably the most metal thing I can imagine!

Some GM struggle with NPC naming. Here's my method. First, identify a trait that define the NPC, for example 'strenght'. Then translate with Google in a exotic foreign language, like serbian. Then change one or two letter. And boom, you have Siluh the Strong.

The dread of space, the fear of unknown, when executed well and not through the stale 'let's open Call of Chtulhu's bestiary' it's a favorite theme of mine. Speaking of that I suggest to you to listen to Remina, expecially if you're playing the Haarlock Legacy campaing for Dark Heresy.

What's your favorite classic monster in #fantasy? Personally I love the Manticore, a beast that uses both it's brutal strength and its poisonous lies to hunt and devour the humans that its face resembles so much. A symbol of how the powerful will always try to eat the weak.

I love #pf2e but if there is something I don't like is how it's based on being full hp. Healing is cheap both magical and mundane so after each fight everyone is always full hp or close. That means that enemies to be a real threat have to be able to almost one-shot players. (continues)

Yesterday I was mastering my #pf2e campaing. The party was fighting along side an npc. Said npc proceeded to crit 5 (FIVE!) times in a row. Even a MAP -10 crit. The NPC wasn't op or overlevelled by the way...

How to handle when a player can't be there for the schedule #TTRPG session? Personally in my group we valure roleplay above all other aspects of the game so the sudden missing of a character would be weird and we solve it not playing, instead doing something else (a one-shot, a board game...)

The #pathfinder2e remaster was a great way to fix many of the small problems the system had, but it also brought problems. One of them is that my favorite archetype, the Hellknight, got nerfed to oblivion... after being already a quite meh archetype (mechanically).

What is #darkfantasy? A mood? An aesthetic? For me dark fantasy is when the world is rotting away, when a cancerous illness is growing and the protagonists have to fight against this illness.
