The Supreme Court’s ICE Raids Ruling Is Shameful
The conservative majority essentially decided it’s OK to use racial profiling in immigration enforcement.

The president of the United States just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city, and one governed by his political opponents.

In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy.

That’s EXACTLY what is happening. Just like when a child keeps pushing to see how far they can go before you tell them no. Give them an inch they will take your life. Or the life of your friends and neighbors, your family, who knows.
Jordy: I call it the leaky fascist faucet. You have CEOs giving Trump gold, then it's let's do a little gerrymandering, let's send the National Guard into this one city, and the next. And then? It'll be:

We need to deploy the military during elections to make sure no "election fraud" is happening.

In Trump v. Wilcox in May the SCOTUS made clear that “for cause” protections apply to members of the Federal Reserve Board. Which means a tweet from Trump’s Fed Housing Finance Chair claiming that Cook committed mortgage fraud constitutes “cause.” And that’s bogus.

This must be fought.
It’s hard to overstate how big a deal this is - for the economy (ours and globally), for the rule of law, and for the proper and efficient function of government.

LFG!!! Wake up dems!
Walz says Harris "would have been a fantastic president... we wouldn't wake up every day to a bunch of shit on TV. We would wake up to an adult w/ compassion & dignity doing the work, not a manchild crying about whatever is wrong with him. May his fat ankles find something today. Petty as hell."

It's beyond outrageous what Trump has done to Kilmar Abrego Garcia. And it's all because he became the most prominent illustration of how the amoral, sadistic, lawless, mendacious, and authoritarian thugs who today control our federal government seek to destroy our constitutional order. ...
Today I spoke with Kilmar Abrego Garcia. The courts & public outcry forced Trump to return him to MD, but Trump’s cronies keep lying about his case & are engaged in a malicious abuse of power to try to deport him to Uganda.

As I told Kilmar, I won’t stop fighting for justice & due process for all:

No, most wars in human history were not resolved by the aggressor nation with an autocratic ruler still firmly in power voluntarily agreeing to stop after negotiations. But I suppose when you’re Vance and you’re all-in on being a Putin apologist, you will say anything.

I suppose it's also worth noting that every previous invocation of the Insurrection Act involving the deployment of U.S. troops from one state to another — over the protests of that state's governor — were directly related to the American Civil War and its aftermath.

Read into that what you will.

I can't shake the feeling that we are at a very unpleasant turning point where a lot of the Trump administration members are starting to get their bearings and realize just what an impossible position they have put themselves in.

There isn't a clear next phase of this. And he will die before them.

Black folks are used to being over policed, so we’ll find a way to navigate through this.

The SURPRISE is from people that deluded themselves into believing the US wasn’t a police state because there a 15 different types of potato chips at a convenience store.

The US has always been a police state
The thing about #DC I feel & why it’s going just fine even with our YN’s is because everyone here is use to seeing police FBI etc all the time because it’s the capital city. And D.C. folks overall do not care because it is government 24/7…Now Chicago & places like Detroit etc whew buddy.
Trump said Chicago will be the next city that his administration targets following D.C.
