A lot rests on the right to repair—not just the notion that you can repair something yourself, but the idea of independent repair shops. The very idea that you own the thing you buy — and aren’t “licensing” it from a company — rests on this
Washington state just became the eighth U.S. state to pass a right to repair law, making it easier and cheaper to repair your own tech!

One of the few areas where U.S. consumer rights are headed in the right direction.
Washington becomes eighth state with Right to Repair law on the books
In a landmark win, Governor Ferguson signed two bills protecting the Right to Repair, one for electronic devices and home appliances and another for wheelchairs.

Imagine if instead of providing passenger ferry service we just made everyone own their own small boats. It would be chaos and totally unsafe on days like today. And obviously not everyone could afford one. Plus imagine the dock space required!
But that’s basically what we do with cars 🤣

If there's now no LNP coalition, does each party have to come up with their own "Shadow Minister"?! Will the media now refer to them as "the Liberal spokesperson on ..." and "the Nationals spokesperson on ..." ? We need ABC election analyst Antony Green now more than ever! 🤔 #auspol #AusVotes25

AOC STANDS UP FOR AMERICANS! She works for US! Giving away the lifelines of the poorest of us to give MORE TAX BREAKS TO THE RICH IS DESPICABLE!! Medical care for the poorest & the disabled, Nursing care, Nursing home care for elderly, SNAP & other food benefits & support for utilities will stop!
AOC shuts down GOP outrage—calling out their arrogance, their condescension.

“I will not yield to disrespectful men.”

No apologies.
No deference.
Just straight fire.
