Choosing not to willfully perpetuate the unnecessary exposure to harmful contagions within your community should really be the bare minimum for community care.

michigan senator elissa slotkin joined the republicans in voting for this bill that donald trump will sign by the end of the week. if you are a michigan resident and you'd like to call slotkin's office to express how you feel about this, the number is 202 224 4822
With only 59 votes in, enough Democrats have joined Republicans in support of cloture that we can confirm the bill will become law in a form harsher than when first introduced.

- Kelly (AZ)
- Gallego (AZ)
- Peters (MI)
- Slotkin (MI)
- Rosen (NV)
- Cortez-Masto (NV)
- Hassan (NH)
- Fetterman (PA)
Vote is ongoing right now. We'll see in moments whether or not the rising opposition against the bill has managed to halt it or not.

The US is THE most successful economy in human history. Its GDP is $8 trillion larger than the entire EU despite having 100 million fewer people.

If the US wanted to, it could have the best social welfare system on the planet. And here's the crazy part: It would be cheaper than the present system.
Economic doomerism does not encourage solidarity - it makes people angrier and less cooperative. The reality is that the US is a very prosperous country *that could afford to be a lot more generous.*

Hey. If you make RPG products and you use AI, I think you’re a fucking joke who needs to learn how to make art. That’s loser mentality. Using AI for your art is total loser mentality.

Hey folks, a reminder:

Don't use Gen ai.

You can either afford an artist/stock art, or you can't.

If you can't, you can make your own art/designs or abstain.

Or you can cheaper your entire brand and communicate to your audience that you peddle low-effort garbage by using a plagiarism machine.
