I’m out to lunch with family at a popular food court. I’ve bought a two dish combo of salt & pepper chicken and Mongolian lamb. Whoever made the lamb dish should be ashamed of themselves- all I can taste is Keen’s curry powder. Not only is the flavour not what I expected, it’s made the dish inedible

I went to Etsy earlier today, trying to find something handmade for a friend's Christmas gift. I admit it's been ages since I bought from Etsy, but when did it turn into Ebay-light? So many sellers of "vintage" goods or drop-shippers, and very few sellers who actually made their own products. 🙁

I loathe the trend of bathrooms without doors (or the frosted glass shower door for the toilet), and I certainly wouldn't want one in a hotel room.

I loathe the trend of bathrooms without doors (or the frosted glass shower door for the toilet), and I certainly wouldn't want one in a hotel room.

Fell into my current career by accident because I'm good with IT and doing admin work. That and the fact I called the on site IT guy out for not doing his job, and lying about what could and couldn't be done. Easy enough to do when Leadership has no clue, but I did know, so he quit within that year.

I bought some chocolate today to be eaten nearer to Christmas, left it on the cooktop as I wasn't using the oven today, as I hadn't decided where I was going to hide it from the hungry hoards. Husband decided to heat up an apple crumble. Did he check to see if he needed to move anything first? No 😞

This shirt is horrible in so many ways and it's not even clean. Just goes to show that having money doesn't instantly teach you how to dress appropriately for a formal occasion.

Even now, in the year 2025, I cringe at the thought of wearing ugg boots in public. I am a part of a certain generation of Aussie who was brought up to see them as house slippers. Not even WYB making them almost look stylish would encourage me to wear a pair in public.
