Labour are a proto-fascist party
Like let’s be real when the Tories were in power there wasn’t plans to chemically castrate people to bring the prison numbers down or force feed people ozempic to reduce the unemployment queue

This party are shaping up to be far far worse

Labour love to pretend they like international law and order (“we won’t pre-empt international courts when it comes to determining genocide”) and then they go ahead and freeze the ICC Chief Prosecutor’s bank accounts…

yeah Starmer's full mask-off racist now but the REAL villains in all this are the people who saw him for what he and his project were before me, the protagonist of reality

p.s looking forward to the book! have been ever since it won an award in March 2016!

Some humility from centrists who got this completely wrong would be nice. Like just very basic accountability and recognition that the left was right and they were not.

Instead, even when “admitting” they were wrong they do it in such a sneering way

The ironic thing is that British foreign aid often acts to project soft power abroad in service of our imperialist foreign policy goals. Musk-brained Labourites are letting incompetence get in the way of their imperialism
Starmer yesterday paraphrased Enoch Powell - “island of strangers”.

Then today the aid minster saying - we act as a global charity.

I've had enough of rhetoric like this over the years from Reform/Tories.

I expected better of Labour because it is ultimately self defeating. 🧵 1.

UK Government no longer ‘global charity’, aid minister to tell MPs
Baroness Jenny Chapman will say the UK will focus on partnering with developing countries rather than providing money.

sorry but the idea a bunch of politics dorks didn’t deliberately write the enoch powell reference as an enoch powell reference in starmer’s speech is either an insult to our intelligence or an insult to theirs

Crazy that in the past week Starmer has out-Nazied Kanye West, despite Kanye releasing a song called “Heil Hitler”

It’s a mistake to go into the Greens thinking this guy is the next Jeremy Corbyn. You’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

The only plausible argument for left entryism is the strength of the Greens democratic mechanisms that can hold a figurehead to account.
is this your king??

Palestinians are not “facing” starvation.

They are being starved to death by Israel.

Yet our government still refuses to end all arms sales and implement sanctions, granting endless impunity for Israel's crimes against humanity.

End the blockade — and stop the genocide.

Even the reddest American states do not have bathroom bans covering all private as well as public facilities. This is as extreme as it gets

So the EHRC guidance suggests that even if you wish to form your own trans-inclusive group, you aren’t allowed to. An insane overreach.

What is this if not legislating trans people out of public life?
April 26, 2025 at 10:28 AM
The idea of accountability to a wider movement scares Labour MPs so much. This is the sort of patronising response you get for merely questioning a “pro-trans” Labour MP about their membership of a transphobic party.
I’ve repeatedly stood up for trans. I don’t expect any thanks. It’s called solidarity.
But a wee bit of advice. You don’t demand solidarity. It’s not how it works. It’s freely given or it isn’t.
