The Supreme Court and EHRC have taken existing legislation that worked its way through our “democratic” processes and interpreted it in a specific way that is antithetical to the understanding of sex and gender in biological and sociological disciplines.

That is a major barrier to using representative democracy as a vehicle for socialist change which I think needs to be addressed by any new left party. What mechanisms would be in place to ensure representatives are subordinated to the movement?
