True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow.
The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?"
When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.

This man is accusing others of idiocy but doesn’t realize he is explaining the first amendment wrong. The government is LITERALLY limiting political speech with the ban of TikTok under the guise of national security.
