As non-WoL, his focus on understanding what brought him to the Source. He eventually figures it out, but too late—the Flood has happened. He then looks to find a way back to the First, arriving post-StB and trying to help what remains of his home.
What would your WoL be doing if they weren't the WoL?
If your OC isn't a WoL, how would they handle being the WoL?

However, he's fairly good at disguising himself to avoid being recognized—I've been thinking that's how he does CUL things, almost like an alter ego that no one knows is the WoL. In that regard I'd say more like 8?
How stealthy can your OC be on a scale from 1-10?
1 being as obvious as the sun next to you.
10 being as obvious as finding a needle in outer space.

He's a Sea Wolf, go figure. I didn't even plan it that way.

...the bad guys. It's usually the bad guys who are getting hurt by the heavy magitek equipment Teejay ends up operating.

Bonus shoutout to the 7.3 dungeon. The fights are fun (esp. the second boss) which I hope means good things for future combat design.
For the player today!

What was YOUR favorite patch, storyline, piece of content that ffxiv offered so far?

Otherwise, I could feasibly believe that most of the Arcadion themes are already diegetic (M5 absolutely is).

When all seems bleak and hopeless, what inspires your character to hold on and push forward?
How does your WOL/OC feel about their body? Are they comfortable in their own skin? Is there any part of them they prefer to hide away or show off?
If he did use one, I'd guess a soulkin like a Dullahan.

If your character was to slow down and take a deep look inside of themselves, what would they see?
This is Ren dressed like @venomouslass.bsky.social
I, uh, really went hard at MSQ.

The worst part is the places that offer more food than he could eat are the ones where it's more polite to be modest, like a royal banquet.
How much food can your OC eat before they go "yep, that's it for me."?

Free city is the Crystarium, both because I really like it and it's also fairly lore relevant.
Which teleportation destinations do you have as your free/reduced cost points? Why those locations? How often do you change them up?

But Teejay has more money than he needs. Not because he's raking in money, but because he makes "enough" and his expenses are low. Room and board tend to be free, and I imagine Cid won't charge for armor repairs either.
A remark somebody made got me thinking: in their own eyes, is your WoL/OC paid enough for what they do in MSQ? Or do they ever take side jobs? Maybe even hand out an invoice or two?

Until then, I can only imagine.

I usually try to build off of existing canon, writing things that feel like logical extensions rather than from scratch. However, that doesn't work when we'll probably never learn about the First beyond Norvrandt...
In addition to creating lore for your WoL/OC, did you also create unique lore about where they're from? Are they part of an obscure miqo'te tribe whose culture you created from scratch? Are they from a village with its own customs? From another Reflection? Sound off!

I feel light and joyful today. What is the most joyous moment in the game for you?
Mine the comments!
I think he'd be hesitant to open up at first, but if he did it would absolutely help him a lot. I can see it going both ways: giving up before opening, or actually doing well.

He lost them when traveling to the Source, and ended up having to purchase them back from Rowena...
Is there a reason your WoL/OC uses the weapon that they have?
Is there anything special about it or do they just use any ordinary weapon?
