Whenever I see the "i'll block anyone and I don't owe you an explanation" outlook I know to stay far away because I know that a) you don't have the emotional maturity or backbone to process and communicate why you don't like someone and b) you treat people as content, not people.

My long term prediction is that each expansion from now on is going to be a mix of a place on Eorzea and another shard where there is some kind of nexus on Eorzea that helps us reach that shard.
So Soup is the best writer I've ever known and you should definitely be as excited for their novel as I am just because the lore is SO COOL.
I would sacrifice my heart and keep it on a large broach over my sternum, so close yet so far away, and call myself Die-Well to taunt my enemies to stab it.

Did you know that mages, as a consequence of Ascension and mastery of their magic, will undergo a ceremony during which they sacrifice a part of their body to the Mysteries? They keep this body part/organ as a reliquary on their person and use it as a conduit for their magic.

LRP I wish more people realized that "fiction is sometimes meant to be a safe place to explore the abject and that's okay" and "we should be critical of what conscious or subconscious messaging a creator is sending us so that it doesn't confirm harmful biases" can coexist as thoughts.

I think we should be able to appreciate well-crafted and expertly written villainy in fiction without shame or reproach, or having our personal morality conflated with real-world wrong and evil. This extends to appreciation of several other themes in fiction as well.
