That Trump and Republicans have been able to blame the TikTok ban on Democrats reflects some mistakes by Dems but also reflect the unparalleled control of the information environment. Very few people are aware of Trump's long-running anti-Tiktok stance.

Facts.
A chart showing life expectancy versus health expenditure in developed nations from 1978 to 2018. The US veers strongly away from the others, as our costs go up up up and the results do not match it. All it takes to get Universal Healthcare, is convincing Americans that paying $2000 in taxes is better than paying $8000 in Health Insurance. It literally boils down to enough Americans understanding that the number 2 is smaller than the number 8. Every other country has already figured this out.
