Today while getting dressed, thanks to my fiancée (who is Greek) I discovered there's a link between Spanish and Greek words for underwear ('bragas' & 'βρακί'). Βρακί is from earlier βράκα(-ες) from Latin brācae ("breeches") which ultimately shares a common root with English 'breeches'
