When I took journalism in college, know what I had to take as REQUIRED courses?

•Critical Thinking & Reasoning

•Philosophy & Ethics

•An Introduction to Philosophy

We also had a bunch of classes about cultural norms in journalism & how to avoid loaded questions & the like.
I really do not understand how people don't face consequences.

This isn't some esoteric norm she breeched.

Don't be romantically entangled with a source is journalism 001. It's remedial journalism. That she not only did it but never came forward is maddening.

While Lula boasts of protecting the Amazon at #COP30, Brazil keeps expanding oil drilling deep in the rainforest.

Indigenous protesters stormed the climate summit, denouncing the hypocrisy, as cargo ships, pipelines, and Petrobras rigs choke their rivers and homes.

Feeding Americans: too expensive. Rebranding the Pentagon to stroke the ego of small, weak-minded men: worth $2 billion.
About half of what it was going to cost to fully fund SNAP in November during the shutdown.

Chicago's Far South Side devolved into chaos when residents confronted Border Patrol agents who rammed a car to make an arrest.

The feds ultimately used tear gas to flee, despite a Chicago police leader offering to clear a path and warning that cops didn't have gas masks.

There are four leaks to plug for Trump: the survivors, Ghislaine Maxwell, the Epstein Estate, and the 1000+ FBI and DoJ employees he locked in a building and forced to remove his name from the files.

Good luck, asshole.

The 1st publicly known case vs. Trump for sexually assaulting a minor was in 2016 when a woman identified as Jane Doe filed a civil lawsuit in federal court.
The sexual assault occurred in 1994 when she was 13 years old at parties by Jeffrey Epstein in New York City.

We’ve known for about a decade.

This is a disaster beyond all reasoning. The space program and NASA in general have been the heart of R&D for so much of our technology it's indescribable. Teflon for instance was invented so the pipes carrying fuel in rockets could be smaller and more efficient.

This is insanity. Trump's using a tax, that Americans will have to pay, to conduct what the mad king considers foreign policy. Which is instead, bribery to get his foreign guilty pals out of jail.
