My dumbass county switched to paper ballots because of Trump's stupid bullshit and the effect was
1) Long ass lines at the polling place
2) It was harder to read
3) Took longer to fill out
4) You got to deal with that test anxiety from school where you're worried you didn't bubble correctly

The Steam Machine is really funny to me because I'm sure Microsoft would have loved to make a simple, console-like PC gaming product but there's no way they could do it without Steam, which for them would mean it would have to have Windows Installed, which would immediately tank such a product.
