If you have students who are trans no you don’t. If you have students of color who may be affected by ICE no you don’t. If anyone asks you gender or racial the makeup of your class you don’t have to tell them.

"AI" creative writing looks passable to people who don't look at writing all day long. To editors, it pops out like a sore thumb. LLMs are glorified predictive text machines and they predict, well, predictably. PS: if you submit an "AI" story, the editor WILL remember you, and not in a good way.
I can usually tell if something was written by AI in the 1st paragraph. I don’t know if it’s my divergence or the fact that I’ve read a ridiculous amount 🤷🏻♀️

All these goobers posting airplanes and stars thinking they’re drones made me realize that if there was social media 500 years ago, a bunch of people would have been sharing pictures labeled “omg a mermaid” with community notes like “that’s a rock” and “manatee.”

I got my results back on a full cognitive assessment today and there is something about having names and data for things regarding how I think that has been validating and dismaying and interesting.
