帰り道、道を塞いで夕涼み中の猫あり。飼い猫だろう、かなり太ってて暑そうだ。On the way home, there was a cat blocking the road, enjoying the evening breeze. It was probably a pet, quite fat and looking hot.

夕方、寝そべって夕涼みする猫。アスファルトに埋もれてるみたい。よほど気持ちいいらしく、私が近寄っても逃げない。A cat lying down in the evening to cool off for the evening. Looks like it's buried in the asphalt. He/she seems to be very comfortable and doesn't run away when I approach it.

殺人的な暑い日が続くけど、セイタカアワダチソウには格好の気候みたい。気持ちいいくらいにまっすぐ伸びてる。The weather is murderously hot, but it seems to be a perfect climate for the Solidago altissima. It's growing nice and straight.

Every year the swifts come all the way from Africa and a pair meet up in have their holiday home in our roof and others in neighboring roofs.
I love this time of year when they are screeching and darting around and through our garden.
