Over at Treasury, DOGE is mucking around with the U.S. Government's payment systems. Meanwhile, heSenate Minority Leader is focused on USAID, eggs, and bird flu. The lack of opposition is how dictatorships can take root.
At a time of soaring egg prices, the Trump administration shutting off USAID programs that fight the global spread of bird flu is utterly asinine.

Got a MMR booster today following advice from my doctor after we discussed me traveling through the Southern US in December. The polio virus has been detected in waste water in several US cities. I hope this disease does not resurface there. Post-Polio Syndrome can be a life-long condition.
