So in spring, Pam Bondi said there was nothing to the Epstein investigation, then “closed” it. Now, they “find” 1 million more docs.

So did she close this without seeing these docs? Or was someone hiding them?

Congratulations to @jimmykimmel.com on his triumphant return!
Last night he was pitch-perfect. Inspirational, self-reflective, gracious to his haters, championing the 1st Amendment & most importantly: FUNNY.

Moore has publicly offered a sunny assessment of Trump’s economic strategies.

But his bearish stock plays represent an apparent shift in his personal investment strategy.

As just a general point it's remarkable to me that Trump (+GOP) managed to come up with a bill that combines savage cuts and big electorally scary numbers of people who lose health care AND drive the debt through the roof.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode deficits

3) Use the debt as an excuse to demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

How did rich business guys get the risk assessment on Trump vs. Harris so wrong?

"Every single businessperson that I've spoken to said the same thing, they wanted to get time with Biden and couldn't." And they imagined they'd be getting Trump 1.0.

DOGE delivered suffering rather than savings. It laid off thousands of skilled federal workers, including veterans, and destroyed programs like PEPFAR, costing lives. It promised $2T in cuts, claimed $175B, but likely saved far less at great human cost.
