Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

This brings me to the toughest part: the fact that we are on our own. Institutions that assured us they would be in the fight for democracy are already backing down. People who claimed they saw Trump clearly for what he is now have voluntarily put blinders in front of their own eyes.

You do not need to be consuming hours of news in real time filled with people making conjectures about what may happen. Do not watch cable news, regardless of network.
I don’t watch cable news anymore and I feel MORE informed than I did before.
It’s a good reminder that cable news exists to sell ads, which is why it reduces news to reality TV, creating content aimed at the lowest common denominator.
