Columbia, Tufts, and Georgetown faculty will be hosting vigils Monday for those abducted by the Trump admin — Mahmoud Khalil, Badar Khan Suri, and Rumeysa Ozturk.

Will gather every week until they’re free

All of this for speaking up against genocide. Fascism is here.
All of this for some students watching a documentary on campus. Fucking ridiculous.

This is why Trump AND the Senate Republicans are a danger to all Americans:

They’ve allowed a man with no medical degree, medical training, or medical experience to be the federal government’s mouthpiece on health issues.

We've got Bill Kristol saying abolish ICE and standing up for trans people, David Brooks quoting the communist manifesto, and Sen. Van Hollen forcing a dictator to give proof of life of a hostage in a death camp.

Meanwhile, Dems like Newsom are doing podcasts with fascists.

Make it make sense.

Here are two straightforward and incontrovertible statements of law about Mahmoud Khalil:

1) Khalil is a political prisoner of the United States

2) Khallil is a "prisoner of conscience" as defined by Amnesty International

We need to say these things, and the world needs to hear them

🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.

For the vast majority of above-ground public protests “don’t bring your phone” is actually bad security advice. You are much more likely to need your phone to call for help or document police aggression than you are to be arrested later cuz your phone pinged a cell tower near the raging grannies

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.
