I'll be starting an interesting internship soon! I have to balance what I can and cannot share here but this is an exciting opportunity to learn about our dysfunctional criminal justice system from the inside, brush up on my social work skills, get up to SF more, and learn about SF city politics.

I continue to remain aghast at the kinds of people I am matched with on dating apps. It's nearly impossible not to want to write satirical accounts about many of them.

Well, I reconnoitered a happy hour tonight and felt underdressed. I’ve never really done happy hours before and don’t know quite how they work. I did not want to sit by myself at the bar.

This is really smart policy, and it's also good to see Mamdani and the Council President partnering on something early. They may not be aligned on everything, but good politics is maximizing the delivery on what you agree on.

The first season of "The Pitt" consists of one crushing heartbreak after another until Dr. Robby has one of the most powerful and affecting breakdowns on screen I've probably ever seen. Bravo for Noah Wyle getting to shine again.

One of the cute "dad" things that my dad did when I was growing up was to clip articles from the newspaper that he thought I'd find interesting. I used to roll my eyes but looking back it was so thoughtful.
