So we were very pleased that Sparrow was adopted & has a great new home! However, 8 days after making it to his new home, he developed a urinary blockage and had to be rushed to an emergency vet. We offered to help because it happened so soon after adoption, but somehow the estimate it up to 15k?

These are the estimates and yeah a lot of stuff on it is clearly very high for what it is.

Eight days after going to his new home Sparrow developed a urinary blockage. His new owners took him to the emergency vet and discovered stones. We offered to help pay his emergency bill because this happened so soon, but found out their emergency vet charged them a fortune and I am panicking

Ugh. I don’t keep in contact well with your friends or use social media and.. Miss them completely. I feel so shitty.. and shocked.. about a friend I learned passed away in December.. I didn’t even know.
