Telling the truth is a revolutionary act — A problem correctly stated is half-solved — If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail — The vibe being good doesn’t turn a lie into the truth (hattip laurenisbusy.bsky.social)

Everyone saw Grand Park's hot pink benches being stacked into a barricade on Sunday. What an exceptional statement from RIOS, the benches' designers instagram.com/rios.imagines

One of the problems on the liberal side of things is that we're easily distracted by minutiae and let the perfect be the enemy of the good. We're fighting actual, literal corporate-controlled fascism at a scale unheard of in human history. Jumping on you for posting links is foolishly short-sighted.

And there you have it how America got into this mess. If there had been more media critics that did the job for the last 40 years maybe we would have a better media. More media critics for the last 40 years would have saved the damn republic. There still aren't enough.

Y’all your public libraries most likely have access to these titles, for free for you. And likely with more privacy than you’d get from reading articles on their websites.

Please, if you don’t already, get a library card. Your taxes are already paying for it, and libraries thrive on user stats.

It’s just a commentary on the lunacy of it all.

On the flip side. If true, her boy might want to rethink his life.

She doesn’t deserve this snark… She was VERY outspoken in her support of Dems. Frankly, at risk to her safety.

Using the American flag to symbolic effect at protests against the Musk/Trump regime isn’t appealing to fascism, and it is incredibly counterproductive and stupid to believe to is.
